Editorial Policy

People come to this Site to make real decisions about a government housing scheme. That deserves care. This page sets out how we produce content, how we handle uncertainty, and how we fix mistakes.

1. Our sources

We prefer primary sources, in this order:

  • Official Telangana Government portals, including indirammaindlu.telangana.gov.in and department websites.
  • Published Government Orders, circulars, budget documents and official press releases.
  • Official helpline and office information for procedures and escalation routes.
  • Established news organisations, used for context and dates, and clearly secondary to official material.

We do not use social-media rumours, WhatsApp forwards, or unattributed “latest news” posts as a basis for factual claims.

2. How we handle conflicting or missing information

Scheme details are sometimes reported inconsistently. When credible sources disagree — for example on minimum house size or a phase target — we present the range, say plainly that there is no single confirmed figure, and point you to the office that can confirm it for your own sanction. We would rather leave you correctly uncertain than confidently wrong.

3. Writing standards

  • Plain English, written for an applicant rather than an administrator, with Telugu terms given where they help.
  • Numbers, dates and status labels stated as they appear in official material, not paraphrased into something more attractive.
  • No promises about approval, timelines or fund release — those are not ours to make.
  • No collection of personal data: every action involving your details is handed off to the official portal.
  • Clear warnings against fee-collecting middlemen and lookalike websites.

4. Review and updates

Pages are reviewed when a relevant Government Order, portal change or phase announcement appears, and periodically otherwise. Substantive updates are reflected in the page's “last updated” date. Content that is no longer accurate is corrected or removed rather than left to age quietly.

5. Corrections

If we get something wrong, we want to know. Email [email protected] with the page URL and what is incorrect, ideally with a source. We aim to acknowledge within 3–5 working days, verify against official material, and correct promptly. Where a correction changes the meaning of earlier guidance, we note it on the page.

6. Independence from advertising

Advertising keeps this Site free. It does not buy coverage. Adverts are served by third-party networks and are visually distinct from our writing; advertisers get no review of, or influence over, editorial content. Any sponsored or affiliate placement is labelled where required, and we decline advertising that impersonates government services or targets applicants with fee-based “help”. 7. Use of AI tools

We may use software tools, including AI assistance, for drafting support, structuring and language editing. Every factual claim is checked by a human against official sources before publication, and we remain fully responsible for everything published here.

8. Ownership and funding

The Site is independently owned and funded solely through advertising and affiliate income. It receives no government funding and no payment from any party in exchange for favourable coverage.
