Cookie Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how indirammaillu.net uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software development kits inside adverts. They let a site remember something between page views, or let a partner recognise a browser across visits.
2. Categories of cookies used on this Site
- Strictly necessary. Needed for the Site to load securely and to remember a choice you have made, such as your cookie consent. These cannot be switched off through a consent banner.
- Preferences. Remember minor display choices, for example a closed notice, so the page behaves consistently on your next visit.
- Analytics / performance. Help us count visits and see which sections of the guide are read, in aggregate. This tells us what to expand or rewrite.
- Advertising / measurement. Set by third-party advertising networks to select adverts, limit how often you see the same advert, and measure advert performance. Depending on your consent, these adverts may be personalised or non-personalised.
3. Third-party cookies
We do not control cookies set by third parties. The most likely third parties on this Site are:
- Google — for advertising (such as Google AdSense and its certified partners) and, where enabled, analytics. See How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Other advertising networks and their certified partners — where they participate in serving or measuring adverts on our pages.
- Our hosting and content-delivery provider — for security and to deliver files quickly.
4. Your choices
- Consent banner. Where the law requires it, non-essential cookies are set only after you agree, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie settings on the Site.
- Personalised advertising. Turn it off at Google Ads Settings, or use the industry opt-outs at aboutads.info/choices and optout.networkadvertising.org. You will still see adverts, but they will be less relevant to you.
- Browser controls. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, block third-party cookies, or open a private window. Look under Settings → Privacy. Blocking all cookies may break parts of some websites.
- Mobile devices. Android and iOS both offer an advertising-ID reset and a “limit ad tracking” setting.
5. Do Not Track
Browsers send Do Not Track signals inconsistently and there is no agreed industry standard for honouring them, so we do not currently respond to them. Use the controls listed above instead — they work.
6. Changes
As our advertising and measurement partners change, this policy will be updated and the date above revised. Questions can go to [email protected].
