Indiramma Illu Guide respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how to notify us about material on indirammaillu.net that you believe infringes your copyright, and how we respond.

1. Our own content

The original text, structure, design, illustrations and code on this Site are our copyright. You are welcome to quote a short extract with clear attribution and a link to the page. Republishing whole pages or substantial portions, or reusing our material in a commercial product or dataset, requires our written permission — ask us, we usually reply quickly.

2. Government and third-party material

Government Orders, scheme names, statistics and portal references belong to the respective government bodies and are referenced here for reporting and informational purposes. Other third-party names, trademarks and logos remain the property of their owners. If you believe we have used your material beyond fair use, tell us and we will review it.

3. Sending a copyright notice

Send notices by email to [email protected] with “Copyright Notice” in the subject line. To let us act, your notice should include:

  • identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • the exact URL(s) on this Site where the material appears, and a description of the material;
  • your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf, made under penalty of perjury where applicable;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

An incomplete notice may delay our response. Please do not send notices for material we do not host — for example content on a government portal or inside a third-party advertisement.

4. What we do after receiving a notice

We review valid notices promptly, usually within a few working days. If the complaint is well-founded we remove or disable access to the material, and we may notify the person who supplied it. We keep a record of notices received and the action taken.

5. Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address, including the material and its former location, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was in error, and your signature. We may restore the material where the law permits.

6. Repeat infringement and misuse

We terminate arrangements with contributors who repeatedly infringe copyright. Equally, submitting a knowingly false notice can carry legal consequences; please make sure your claim is genuine before sending it.

7. Trademark and impersonation complaints

If a website is impersonating this Site or using our name to collect money or documents from applicants, please report it to us and to the government helpline 1800 599 5991.
